1. What is this article about?
The Article is about the high rates and fees the Credit Card Companies are giving people and what Congree is doing to drop down the fees.

2. Why did you choose it -- what did you find interesting about it?
I choose the article because it talks about the big fees the Credit Card Companies are giving people. Congree is starting to stop it but Congree is thaking more time tomake better laws to target the fees. I found this article interesting because Congree is starting to help but is taking to long to stop the problem that many Americans are facing.

3. Do you agree with what's happening in the story? Why or why not?
Yes and No I agree with the article but they are taking to long. Both my parents are being killed with all the fees on their credit cards and are going crazy.

4. Do you think the information has been presented fairly? Why or why not?
Yes, the article presents the information in other you can understand and shows everyones side of the problem.

5. Would use this news source again? Why or why not?
Yes, I think CNN always gives great article about problems facing America.

  1. Brian, Reading your article and post and reading Rachel's was really interesting. Both of you picked articles about the same information -- banks raising credit card fees -- but Rachel picked a blog and you picked CNN. That provides a real contrast between the two. The blog Rachel picked complained about the poor customer service, but the CNN article explained why it was happening, which was the banks were rushing to make $$$ before new regulations took effect. That actually made me madder. Sometimes facts just speak for themselves. I agree with you: CNN is a great source for news on the economy.
