http://www.nytimes.com/2009/11/14/business/global/14jbank.html?ref=business

1. What is this article about?
This article is about how big japenese banks are pulling themselves out of the recession. They suffered much smaller credit losses then the United States, but are taking longer to recover due to "rock bottom" interest rates.

2. Why did you choose it?
I think that its good that the global economy is slowly but surely recovering, and i find it interesting as well.

3. Do you agree with whats happening in the story? Why or why not?
I kind of disagree with this article because people say that the economy is getting better, but when the winter comes its going to get rough. Things are going to get worse before they get better.

4. Do you think the information has been prsented fairly? Why or why not?
Yes. It includes facts and supports the economic recovery.

5. Would you use this news source again? Why or why not?
Yes. this news source is fair and reliable.

  1. Kevin, A decent summary and assessment of a rather technical article. Next time try something that relates more directly to the American economy.
