1. What is this article about?
The article is about the rise in the cost of gold and how people are saying that more oversea central banks will increase their gold reserves and ease some concerns that such a largedose of supply would weigh on prices in the open market.

2. Why did you choose it -- what did you find interesting about it?
I chose the article because I like buying jewelery. The thing I found most interesting about it was that the stocks started to rally and there was a drop in jobless claims.

3. Do you agree with what's happening in the story? Why or why not?
I do not agree because alot of people buy gold and if the price goes up then the demand for gold will decrease.

4. Do you think the information has been presented fairly? Why or why not?
Yes. The information was presented fairly because people should know about the rise in gold

5. Would use this news source again? Why or why not?
Yes I would use this source again because cnn is updated every day and gives accurate information.

  1. Trish, I wish you had provided a link, because your summary is a little confusing. Why are large banks holding on to gold? How does that relate to the stock market and jobless claims? By the way, you're right about the price of gold affecting the price of jewelry.
